Its vice president, Myriam Giganto, highlights the Reina de la Paz Foundation’s commitment to the projects the club carries out to promote inclusion and equality

The Bolschare Group highlighted the important social role played by WAYBE-Sport Extremadura during the presentation of the 2026-27 season, emphasizing its ability to bring sports to more people and create opportunities in the local community. The company’s vice president, Myriam Giganto, cited this work as one of the main reasons for the support that the Group and the Reina de la Paz Foundation provide to the club as sponsors.

The event, held at the Ibercaja Siglo XXI Building in Badajoz under the slogan “Soccer That Pulses,” was attended by the mayor of Badajoz, Ignacio Gragera; Lourdes Linares, the deputy in charge of the Equality Department at the Badajoz Provincial Council; and José Alberto Cacho, the managing director of the Youth and Sports Foundation. Club president Fernando Pons presented the project for this new phase in the First Federation.

During his opening remarks at the event, Giganto highlighted the role of the Reina de la Paz Foundation in promoting the social initiatives it carries out in partnership with Sport Extremadura. This collaboration aims to ensure that the organization’s growth in sports goes hand in hand with an ever-increasing contribution to the community, with a special focus on those who face the greatest challenges in participating.

“Our Foundation plays an active role in promoting the social projects we carry out in partnership with Sport Extremadura. We contribute our initiative and hard work to ensure that this commitment translates into concrete opportunities and is sustained over time,” he explained.

Bolschare’s vice president expressed her gratitude for the club’s willingness to build this program and for the players’ commitment. She also congratulated the team on their promotion and highlighted the players’ value as role models for girls and young women in Extremadura.

The speech linked this commitment to corporate responsibility and Bolschare’s dedication to the development of its local community. “At Bolschare, we believe in Extremadura’s talent and in our responsibility to create the conditions for it to flourish,” said Giganto, who conveyed to the club the support of the Group and the Foundation as it prepares for the new season.
