Behavior<\/strong><\/p>\n

Common kestrels are small, agile birds of prey. They are known to hover over open fields while searching for prey. They are usually solitary or form monogamous pairs during the breeding season.<\/p>\n

Feeding Habits<\/strong><\/p>\n

They feed mainly on small mammals, such as mice and voles, as well as insects, especially beetles and grasshoppers. They use their keen eyesight to detect prey from the air.<\/p>\n
