Europe has chosen to accelerate its commitment to new markets in response to the current protectionist shift on the international scene. However, this strategy should not be pursued at the expense of its own production model.
Reciprocity and balanced conditions of competition must become the pillars on which the EU strengthens its commercial projection and consolidates its strategic autonomy, without undermining the competitiveness of the European agri-food sector.
