Aflatoxin control is one of the structural challenges that will determine the future competitiveness of the pistachio sector, especially in the most demanding international markets.

This week, Bolschare Agriculture officially presented its strategic project at CTAEX – National Agri-Food Technology Center of Extremadura – during the FOODLAB program session, in the presence of institutional representatives and the media.

Our initiative -developed in collaboration with CTAEX- focuses on the creation of a technical protocol for the reduction and elimination of aflatoxins in pistachios.

The project has been independently evaluated with a score of 90.88/100, confirming its high strategic impact on food security and export competitiveness.

– Science-based innovation

– Alignment with international standards

– High sectoral scalability potential

– Strengthening market access and risk control

This is not just about research. It’s about protecting value at origin, strengthening international confidence and raising the global standard of pistachio safety. At Bolschare, innovation is not optional. It is strategic.
