- The Minister of Economy, Trade and Enterprise meets with the Chairman of the holding company, Ignacio Schmölling
The Minister of Economy, Trade and Enterprise of the Government of Spain, Carlos Cuerpo, visited today the headquarters of the Bolschare Group. At the company’s facilities in Badajoz, the minister held a meeting with the president of the holding company, Ignacio Schmölling, who stressed the importance of the agricultural sector and its development through innovation.
During the visit, Corps and Schmölling toured the headquarters, located in the XXI Century Tower, and exchanged views on the present and future of the agricultural sector. In the same way, Schmölling presented to Cuerpo the Arima tool, developed by Bolschare Group, which has become a European agricultural unicorn and the first certified calculator that measures the direct and indirect impact of CO2 emissions, allowing it to analyze the environmental commitment of companies, sectors and countries.
In the afternoon, the president of the group, Ignacio Schmölling, participated with the minister and a group of businessmen from Extremadura in a working meeting focused on the economic impulse of the region. In this forum they shared proposals to strengthen the competitiveness of Extremadura as an agro-industrial and innovation pole, as well as ways of public-private collaboration to attract investment, generate quality employment and position the region on the international scene.
